Skäggtomte large - Gotland

The Skäggtomte is the original design behind Åsas Tomtebod. Created by Åsa Götander in the early 1990s, its distinctive expression – a hand-felted wool hat, prominent nose and natural sheepskin beard with no visible face – still shapes our work today.

This large Skäggtomte is handmade from natural materials, with a wooden body and a beard of Gotland sheepskin. Natural variations in the sheepskin make every gnome slightly different.
